A bit of Estérel
discovery of Fréjus and its region,
from September 12 to 19, 2020
Taking advantage of the hollow between two waves of Wu Han's famous n ° 19,
we visit this region and this city on the edge of an ancient sea.

- in its immediate periphery, hills with short valleys conceal innumerable individual houses, beautiful summer housing estates, and rare small buildings, at the edge of a tortuous network of roads and streets, arranged under aerated forests of sumptuous thorns as a very characteristic parasol,
- a wild and bold animal , coarse hair and small scrutinizing eyes, perched on pointed hooves, proliferates there even in urban areas ...
- the rhyolite deploys in the east of incomparable coastal panoramas in the scenery of pine forests where superb residences hide and nestle, while in the west there are only a succession of small flat promontories between which sandy beaches almost gray offer themselves to the bath,
- the same rock accumulates in a very vast high massif with famous colors , from the heights of which certain panoramas sparkle with light on the superb horizon ...
- a vast hill superbly planted with trees shelters a mysterious park , charming at first and semi-wild, at the top of which sits a beautiful Italian palace where the municipality exalts soldiers and a former coup leader
- an arrogant and pretentious marina encroaches on the coastal path near an ancient and vast lagoon converted into a water theme park ...
- the heights of the hinterland of valleys and small villages in ridges are crisscrossed with beautiful winding roads not congested along with cycle paths, and intersect with dry tracks of white rubble that adore a wealthy and elderly population, on foot or by electric bike
Everyone will have understood that we are
on the shores of the Mediterranean,
near the Estérel, that the city is that of Fréjus and its rather distorted ancient remains, that one of his illustrious children was Father Sieyès, ...
and that in the shade of its parasol pines, one mixes there pell-mell venerable hedonists and herds of hures.
